Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must meet the specified age, education qualification, nationality, and work experience requirements.
- The candidate’s age must be 18-30 years as on 01.08.2026.
- Graduation in any stream from a recognized University/Institute.
- Candidates must have one year of officer-level experience in a commercial bank after graduation.
- Clerical cadre experience will not be considered for this post.
- Indian citizen. Candidates from Nepal/Bhutan, eligible Tibetan refugees, and specified PIO categories may also apply, with the required certificate.
- The candidate must have proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state for which they are applying.

The BOB LBO selection process consists of three stages:
- Online Examination
- LPT (Local Language Proficiency Test)
- GD/PI/other assessment
The BoB exam will be conducted online; it will consist of 120 questions, with 30 minutes allotted for each section.
- 1 correct anwer = 1 marks
- 1 wrong answer = 0.25 deducted for each wrong answer
- 30 minutes will be allotted for each section.
- The English section will be qualifying in nature; its marks will not be included in the final merit list.

- The probation period for the selected local bank officer will be 12 months and must be completed.
- The local bank officer will be required to serve the bank for three years under a bond.
- If, for any reason, the candidate does not complete their three years of service with the bank, they will be required to pay an amount equivalent to three months’ salary, which is ₹ 2 lakh as mentioned in the official notification.
